Sitefinity Imported Page calling Code Page's Path

How do you get an imported page to use only it's own path, and not include the original page that called the code to import it?

To run the import code we set our library as the code behind in a page named  legacy-data-import

http://localhost:60606/legacy-data-import

When we attempt to preview the imported pages they continue to use that code behind import page's path

http://localhost:60606/legacy-data-import/an-imported-page?sf-lc-status=Temp&sf-content-action=preview&sf-auth=x29mJ%2fJj4Yba%2fjFl493PT1pNhn1pKmJmLUQIxkwTihSKBuuAcsakV8vU6Mcie9bl%2buwAdBH7fO6hUOCx5D7vojbf3u%2bDZmLCB2MaitxLh8hHYLp15pBfjcB%2fCPtUGjqc%2bVrayAI6%2fo7OBFvgV3HgxG%2fvtPeyivvrm5D03eL5It0nlQFX%2bCflCTRi%2bIaDe5rxggAAAA%3d%3d

but it is Not their parent page they show no page assigned in their

Related data Parent Page (Legacy Page Content) " attribute in the UI, only the initial "select..." button appears and you can only select from other Legacy Page Content type items.

How do you stop that from happening?

The pages also do not appear in the list widget created by Sitefinity when we created the module and content type, they were all set up using the SF backend admin tools.

thank you for considering this question.
